Its not wrong to secure our nation from the external threats, but what about the welfare of the people. Does India needs this big toy which is going to use only in the rare situations like a conflict with far nations. Does the land of Gandhi wants weapons of mass destructions.

Now the country as whole is celebrating the moment. But is it fair to spend rupees for these big toys while the 28.6% of the population lives under the poverty line. As per the latest Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative report 8 Indian states have more poor than 26 poorest African nations.

Even if we are rich, why we want this intercontinental missile when most threatening countries are our neighbours. Rather than spending on the luxuries, why we can’t concentrate on eradicating the poverty and making a safe living in home.
